How to add Peppol information manually when a company is not published in the Peppol Directory

In some cases, customers or vendors are not published in the Peppol Directory. As a result, they cannot be found through the Peppol Address Book scan in the FORNAV Peppol Setup.

Even if a company is not discoverable via the directory, it can still participate in Peppol e-document exchange.

In these cases, you have to maintain the necessary information directly on the Customer Card or the Vendor Card.

After opening the relevant card, navigate to the Invoicing section. There, you will find E-Document Service Participation, which specifies the customer’s or vendor’s participation in E-Document services.

To enable Peppol communication, you must create a Service Participant entry for the business partner. In this entry, you set the Participant Identifier field to the Peppol ID provided by the customer or vendor. In the E-Document Service field, select FORNAV.

This setup links the partner’s Peppol ID with the FORNAV service, ensuring that documents can be routed correctly through the Peppol network.

The system can then use the stored Peppol ID for electronic document exchange. Even though the company is not discoverable via the Peppol Directory or the address book lookup, Peppol documents can still be sent and received through FORNAV.

It is important that the Peppol ID is obtained directly from the business partner, as the system cannot validate it through the directory in this scenario.
