Boyum IT Solutions acquires FORNAV and strengthens its position in the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ecosystem

Boyum IT Solutions, a global software company helping small and medium sized businesses bring their products to life, has agreed to acquire FORNAV, a leading provider of document management and reporting solutions for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

With this acquisition, Boyum IT further expands its presence in the Business Central ecosystem by adding a mission critical capability that sits at the core of everyday business operations. FORNAV specializes in helping partners and customers simplify and optimize the design, management, and distribution of business documents such as orders, invoices, shipping documents, and labels, without the need for complex coding.

The addition of FORNAV complements Boyum’s existing portfolio by strengthening how structured data is transformed into accurate, compliant, and business ready outputs. Together, the combined offering supports partners in delivering more complete solutions by connecting ERP workflows with the documents that drive real world transactions.

Jesper Andersen, CEO of Boyum IT, comments:
FORNAV is a natural fit for how we are building our Business Central portfolio. It solves a real, everyday need for partners and customers, and it does it in a way that is deeply embedded in how businesses operate. This is exactly the kind of solution that creates long term value across our partner ecosystem. By bringing FORNAV into Boyum, we are strengthening our ability to help partners deliver more complete, connected solutions that customers rely on every day.

FORNAV has built a strong reputation within the Business Central ecosystem, supported by a global network of approximately 370 partners and more than 2,300 customers across over 30 countries. The solution is deeply embedded within ERP workflows, where accuracy, auditability, and regulatory compliance are essential, making it a trusted component in many implementations.

The founders of FORNAV will remain actively involved in the business following the acquisition and will take on key roles within Boyum IT to support continued growth, product development, and partner engagement.

Jan Sillemann, co founder of FORNAV, adds:
“From the beginning, our focus has been to make document generation simple, powerful, and deeply integrated within Business Central. Joining Boyum IT gives us the opportunity to scale that vision further, supported by a strong partner driven organization and a shared commitment to delivering practical value to customers. We are excited about what we can achieve together.”

The acquisition creates immediate opportunities to strengthen partner engagement, expand reach within the Business Central ecosystem, and unlock cross portfolio value across Boyum’s solutions. By combining FORNAV’s strong partner relationships and installed base with Boyum’s global partner infrastructure, the company aims to accelerate growth and deliver more consistent value across its ecosystem.

Boyum IT continues to build on its growth strategy, combining organic development with targeted acquisitions that strengthen its portfolio and deepen its role as a trusted partner in both the SAP Business One and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ecosystems.
